About me
I am the student counselor at UCR. I take pride and pleasure into helping students getting a better understanding of themselves and support them in overcoming personal difficulties. I believe well-being is fundamental for personal growth and academic achievement. My approach is solution focused. Together with students I explore what is on their mind and look at how to use personal strengths to achieve goals.
I started my career in education in 2007 in Amsterdam and in 2017 I moved to Middelburg. I have obtained a Master’s degree (MEd) in social emotional learning and behavioral support. Throughout my career I acquired diverse experience as an (art & design) teacher, coach and counselor.
