About me
I work at UCR as a Student Recruitment and Admissions Officer. Together with my colleague Denise Nijhuis, I am responsible for the implementation of UCR’s marketing, recruitment and admissions strategy and execution. I am primarily focused on recruitment within the Netherlands and I’m always open to connect with Dutch counselors. I started my academic career at HZ University of Applied Science with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Languages. After finishing my first degree, I worked at DHL for a year. However, I noticed that I had not reached my full potential yet. I wanted to make more societal impact by combing practice and theory. This moment marked the start of my time at Utrecht University. After obtaining my degree in Intercultural Communication, I pursued a career in People Management and travelled the world. Now that I have returned to my roots, I am extremely proud to recruit a talented and diverse student population for our university!
