Anya has been an invaluable member of the UCR community since its founding in 2004. She has held various leadership positions, including Director of Education. Her academic work, particularly in the field of (media) history, and her leadership experience both within UCR and in international contexts, have earned her great respect.
While we are sad to see her leave UCR, we are confident that she will bring her unique blend of expertise, enthusiasm, and vision to the Zeeuws Archief, leading it into an exciting new phase. The board of the Zeeuws Archief is enthusiastic about her appointment, trusting that she will continue to build on the solid foundation laid by her predecessor, as the national government reduces its role and more municipalities in Zeeland become involved.
Anya’s contributions to UCR, both as an academic and a leader, have been extraordinary. We wish her every success in her new role, where she will undoubtedly continue to make a significant impact on the academic and cultural landscape of Zeeland.
