Danielle Boudville, who graduated in June 2018, did an academic research internship in Romania where she studied the potential relationship between migrant numbers and rate of tuberculosis (addressing the fear among the native population that migrants would import tuberculosis). As a follow-up to that study, Prof. dr. Ger Rijkers encouraged her to broaden the scope and include all EU countries. That study is now completed and together with Richa Joshi (who graduated June 2019) they have written a manuscript on these findings. You can read the online version here.
