During the Zeeland US Election Night, Prof. Dr. Bert van den Brink spoke on populism, Dr. Moritz Baumgärtel gave a presentation on Trump and the law, while Dr. Herman Lelieveldt interviewed a colleague from Reed College to discuss the polarization visible in the streets of Portland. At the same time, UCR instructor in International Relations, Dr. David Criekemans has provided background interviews on the relation between the democrats and the republicans and the way forward after the election to a variety of news outlets in his home country Belgium.
