During the Open Day, we will walk you through how our Liberal Arts & Sciences program really works. It’s one thing to hear that you can design your own curriculum, but how do you actually do that in practice? We’ll explain the structure of the program, how students mix and match courses across disciplines, and what support is available to help you make the right choices.

At the Open Day, you won’t just hear about our education, you have the chance to experience it for yourself. Join one of our Master Classes, a short sample lecture taught by a UCR professor, and get a real taste of what learning here is like. Just like in our regular courses, classes are small-scale and interactive, giving you the chance to ask questions, share your ideas, and discuss with your peers.

See UCR through the eyes of a student as you join a guided Campus Tour for prospective students and their families. One of our current students will walk you through our academic spaces, introduce you to life in our historic inner-city campus, and even take you inside one of our housing locations. It is the perfect way to get a feel for both studying and living at UCR.
