Portfolio
Portfolio
A place to reflect on what you have learned and showcase your achievements
The Liberal Arts & Sciences (LAS) Portfolio is one of the graduation requirements to get a degree at University College Roosevelt. Your portfolio helps you set goals, plan your courses, and track your development. This LAS Portfolio consists of two parts:
- Personal & Professional Development Trajectory (PPD).
- A collection of works produced throughout your studies.
This means collecting work that shows your academic growth, personal and professional development, and readiness for what comes next. It’s also a useful tool when applying for Master’s programs. Throughout your time at UCR, your Tutor will support you in planning your curriculum and building your portfolio step by step.
The portfolio is a living document that helps you plan, track, and showcase your academic and personal development over time. It is your tool to set goals, reflect on progress, and highlight accomplishments to teachers or future opportunities
Personal & Professional Development Trajectory
Personal & Professional Development Trajectory
The PPD trajectory starts in the first year with a course that helps you build skills like teamwork, communication and adaptability that you can use in all other courses you take. PPD will prepare you for your academic journey and future career while feeling supported along the way.
As part of the course, you will work on a civic engagement project and apply your learning through real-world challenges. The projects will provide hands-on experience with societal issues and introduce you to the clusters in the curriculum.
