About me
About me
I am an educational specialist with a background in chemistry and a strong passion for teaching and learning in higher education. After completing my PhD, I worked as a university lecturer at UCLA and later moved into educational development at UU, where I supported teachers in designing engaging, inclusive, and evidence-informed courses.
My work focuses on helping students learn deeply and confidently. I particularly enjoy collaborating with educators across disciplines, translating educational research into practical classroom strategies, and creating learning environments where students feel challenged and supported.
Having studied and worked in different academic contexts, I value curiosity, reflection, and dialogue in education. At UCR, I am inspired by the interdisciplinary spirit and close-knit academic community, and I enjoy working with students and colleagues who are eager to explore ideas from multiple perspectives and connect learning to real-world contexts.
