Luisa Laino

I’m an Instructor at University College Roosevelt, where I co-teach Introduction to Public International Law alongside Dr. Moritz Baumgärtel. I started my academic journey right here at UCR, where I specialized in law and politics, and was part of the UCR team for Jessup Moot Court in 2024. I am currently pursuing an L.L.M in Public International Law at the University of Amsterdam. Throughout my career, I contributed to strategic research at the Climate Litigation Network, supporting human rights–based climate litigation, and worked at The Ocean Cleanup at the intersection of environmental governance, policy advocacy, and international law.
