Pathways
Pathways
Shape your route. Follow your ambition.
Every year, thousands of capable and motivated students apply to numerus fixus programs and many are turned away – not because they lack potential – but because places are limited.
At University College Roosevelt, you don’t apply to a fixed program. You enter one Liberal Arts & Sciences (LAS) bachelor program and shape your own route within the academic courses. A pathway is not a separate program or a fixed bachelor track, but a way to guide your course choices within UCR’s flexible curriculum.
Across our six clusters, you can build your own program and create a focused study profile that closely aligns with selective fields such as medicine, psychology, business, law, or data science. You work with your personal tutor to design a program that develops the disciplinary depth, research skills, and theoretical foundations expected by competitive master’s programs.
This means you are not switching goals or sacrificing learning. You are simply choosing a different way of reaching them. Instead of one pre-packaged curriculum, you can create a bachelor’s that fits both:
- your intended master’s direction
- and the broader academic formation that universities increasingly value
- giving you the same opportunities as numerus fixus programs
Key benefits
- Build a focused academic route within one LAS degree
- Align your bachelor’s with selective master’s programs
- Combine disciplinary depth with intellectual breadth
- No intake caps, no forced program boundaries
- Personal academic advising and tutoring from day one
You always graduate with one degree: Liberal Arts & Sciences. What differs is the pathway you design within it.
